Golden Legion Atlanteans

The Golden Legion is a number of Rebellion series figures that I decided to to repaint that are all Yellow level figures (the weakest of their kind.) Here we have a small group of Atlanteans, a Bronze Golem (my favorite golem in the game, and mainly because of looks), an Altem Guardsman, an Utem Guardsman, and an Amotep Gunner.

All are painted Regal Blue and Chainmail, with Burnished Gold rank markers. The Golem is the exception, and all of the dark color on him is Chaos Black. I'm not one for buying 105 pots of paint. I prefer to own a few and mix the rest.

The Altem and Amotep figures' weapons have Blood Red areas, mainly energy emitters. While you can't see it in this photo, the Altem's sword blade is blue with lightning crackling along the surface.

This photo was a lesson in photographing figures. I had them on a white base, as I was looking to have an easily changed background. Unfortunately, the camera compensated, leaving the figures very dark (thus you can't really tell their blue and silver.) Also, the golem and the Amotep are out of focus because of "depth of field" problems related to the size of the figure and how close you have to be to get a good photo. Lesson learned for next time. It'll be in the news section when I get new photos up.
